- I discovered “The delicacies” two years ago. You can find it in the historic centre of Oreos, in the ancient neighbourhood of Monte Crastu, near the ancient church of Saint John

- The waiters are welcoming and not too rush, as befits a place linked to old culinary traditions.

- Last evening I was eating with a party of five. We sampled a good range of items in the menu: pane lentu with purpuza (crumbled pork flavoured with white wine and spices), dumplings with sauce, pane fratau (a dish made up of eggs, carasau bread, tomato sauce, olive oil and pecorino cheese) and a platter full of delicacies (cured meats, cheeses, olives, cream spreads)

Amus proadu unas cantas propostas de su menù: pane lentu cun purpuza (frighinada de porcu insaborida cun binu biancu e ispètzias), malloreddos cun sa bagna, pane fratau (unu pratu a base de oos, pane carasau, bagna de tamata, ògiu de olia e casu de berveghe) e unu tageri prenu de licantzadorias (insacados, casu, olia, cremas chi si podent ispàrghere)
- The portions were very generous, the food was tasty, the dumpling sauce was amazing. The meal came to about € 20,00, and we felt that we were given very good value for money.
